Shop Manager provides a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) post card service, through which you can keep in touch with your customers through the entire service cycle. We call it 360° Customer Contact. It provides post cards at the following contact points: appointments, thank you, no show, deferred work, and inactivity.

After enabling CRM Post Card services, the settings on customer contact cards will determine which customers will receive email messages.
Follow these steps to configure the CRM Post Card service:
Click on the Setup button in the ribbon, then click Post Card Services under the CRM node of the tree menu in the left window pane.
In the Post Card Settings section, edit the following:
Reminder 1: Enter the number of days before the appointment date that you want the first reminder to be sent. This is typically known as a soft reminder. If you do not want reminder one to be sent, enter zero.
Reminder 2: Enter the number of days before the appointment date that you want the second reminder to be sent. This is typically know as a hard reminder. If you do not want reminder two to be sent, enter zero.
Thank You: Enter the number of days after the invoice is posted before a thank you post card is sent. If you do not want a thank you post card to be sent, enter zero.
No Show: Enter the number of days after a missed appointment before a no show post card is sent. If you do not want a no show post card to be sent, enter zero.
Deferred: Enter the number of days after the work is deferred before a deferred post card is sent. If you do not want a deferred post card to be sent, enter zero.
Inactive: Enter the number of days since the last invoice was posted before an inactive post card is sent. If you do not want inactive post cards to be sent, enter zero.
Inactive 2: Enter the number of days since the last invoice was posted before a second inactive post card is sent. If you do not want inactive post cards to be sent, enter zero.
Dead: Enter the number of days since the last invoice was posted before a dead post card is sent. If you do not want dead post cards to be sent, enter zero.
Address: The address of your shop. This will be used as part of the signature in the messages.
Turn on post card service: This check box is grayed out and is only changeable by our CRM team. It will be turned on or off at your request.
Do not send a post card if the customer has an email address - check this box to prevent a post card from being sent to the contact if an email address is present on their contact card.
In the Post Card Template section, edit the following:
Template: Click on the drop-down list to choose the template you want to view or test.
Preview - Click the View button to view the selected template as configured by our CRM team.
