Service Package Relationships

Service Package Relationships are a way to remind the service advisor of additional inspections or services that could be sold in addition to or as a replacement for the service they have selected. The relationships you establish in this dialog are essentially the rules you wish to establish for any number of relationships. You actually establish the related service packages and inspections in their specific templates on the related tab.

Accessing Service Package Relationships

Add/Edit Service a Package Relationship

Access Service Package Relationships using the instructions provided above
To add a new Service Package Relationship, click the Add command button in the Action group on the ribbon
To edit an existing Service Package Relationship, select it from the list and then click the Edit command button in the Action group on the ribbon
Name - Type in the name of the relationship in the provided text box. The name should be descriptive of its purpose
Description - Type in the provided text box the full purpose of the relationship.
Required - If the check box is checked the service package or inspection chosen as related will be added to the work order in addition to the one chosen by the service advisor.
Replacement - If the check box is checked the service package or inspection chosen as related will replace
If neither the Required or Replacement check box is checked then the related service package or inspection will be an optional addition to the work order for the service advisor.

Change the List Order

To change the list order use the drag and drop technique
Click the Save command button in the Search group on the Ribbon.

Delete a Service Package Relationship

List the existing Service Package Relationships as instructed above
Click on the Service Package Relationship you wish to delete
Click the Delete command button in the action group
Click Yes to confirm.
