Inventory materials are items that you stock for resale. Creating inventory material items at the enterprise level allows you to push the items to the location's inventory and maintain pricing from the enterprise setup.

Default Sell Price - This price establishes the initial selling price for the item for all Inventory Price Levels. Once you establish the calculations for the item's price levels, the default price becomes redundant and isn't used by the system for anything. You can determine If your price levels are using the default sell price if the information in the calculation column is preceded by an asterisk. Once the price level has been modified the asterisk will be removed.
Pricing Levels - The pricing levels displayed in the list are a result of what has been defined in the Inventory Price Levels dialog. Once the pricing levels have been defined, you can edit the pricing calculation for each level.
Edit Pricing - You can edit the selling price, cost and MSRP data for any material item.
Advanced Price Editing - You can edit the selling price, cost and MSRP data for any material item using advanced features that let you add and edit several base and effective prices for different time frames, view expired pricing and delete them.
Show Expired Prices - To view expired pricing click the check box
Action - Click the Action button drop down menu to add, edit or delete price levels using the same methods described above to establish the Base Sell Price
Inventory items can be deleted only if the quantity on hand is zero.
